It stands 156 meters tall, with a pentagram at the top called “The Star of SMBU”, which is set to become another landmark in Shenzhen.

Shenzhen MSU-BIT University gives full play to the academic advantages of both universities, while focusing on interaction across multiple disciplines.

At present, five majors are offered to undergraduates: Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Materials Science and Engineering, International Economics and Trade, Foreign Languages and Literature (Russian) and Biology.

In the coming years, majors in the fields of natural science, engineering and the arts will be added to the list.

More than 50 percent of faculty members of Shenzhen MSU-BIT University are from Moscow State University with doctoral degrees, including many academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the university continues to recruit high-caliber educators from around the globe.
